Executive Summary
CRH WARRIOR is a strategic defense research project initiated under the Cyber Research Hub partnership between the Luxembourg Directorate of Defence and the University of Luxembourg (SnT), executed in collaboration with the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA). The project strengthens NATO’s anti-jamming capabilities in satellite communications (SATCOM) and uncrewed aerial systems (UAS), including critical missions operated by the NATO Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Force (NISRF) RQ-4D Phoenix fleet.
Key Objectives & Technical Contributions
- Adaptive AI Anti-Jamming at Allied Ground Stations: Developing real-time artificial intelligence and machine learning models hosted at ground stations to detect, classify, geolocate, and counteract rapidly evolving dynamic jamming attacks.
- Operational SATCOM & UAS Resilience: Combining SIGCOM / 6GSPACE Lab’s satellite signal processing expertise with NATO operational scenarios to protect command-and-control (C2) and high-rate telemetry links.
- Hardware-in-the-Loop Validation: Experimental validation on the 6GSPACE Lab RF spectrum monitoring and software-defined radio (SDR) testbeds.
